The fence had been taken down, opening the flowing grass to easy access.
There were no longer any cows to keep in. In the field were gathered
perhaps one hundred and fifty people. They were friends of the family
and relatives, cherished people I had not seen in many years because of
being far from home and because many of them had passed away.
